Laura's husband had no idea she was planning this. Twenty-five years together, and she'd found something that felt genuinely surprising: a gift that wasn't a thing. A photograph of herself, made with real intention, at a milestone birthday that deserved to be marked.
She arrived not entirely sure what to expect from a male photographer. That question answered itself quickly. The session was at a vintage hotel Anthony had scouted and worked with before, a property whose owner understood photographer privacy needs and made unused rooms available. Claw-foot tubs.
