Almost every woman who walks into this studio says the same thing when she arrives: "I've never done anything like this and I have no idea what I'm doing." That's exactly why the entire day is structured around guidance, not assumptions.
You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to know what to do with your face or your hands. You don't need to have done a boudoir session before. You just need to show up. Everything else is handled.
Here's what the day looks like.

We'd rather answer these now than have you wonder.
"What if I'm awkward or don't know how to pose?"
Every single pose is guided: head position, hands, where to look, how to angle your body. You'll never be left to figure it out alone. Most clients say they forgot to be nervous within the first ten minutes.
"Is it weird that it's a male photographer?"
It's worth asking, and I'd rather you ask it than wonder. The experience is designed around your comfort from the start: a pre-session consultation, a professional stylist present throughout the session, and a private studio. Every client who has been here has said it wasn't weird at all. Because it isn't.
"I don't have the body I want yet."
The body you have right now is the one that belongs in these photos. Not a future version, not a smaller version. This one. The lighting, posing, and composition are all working in your favor. That's the job.
"What if I hate how I look in photos?"
That feeling usually comes from snapshots taken without preparation, lighting, or posing guidance. This is the opposite of a snapshot. The goal is to show you something you've never seen before: yourself, done properly.
Pre-Session Consultation
Before your session date, we talk. What you're hoping to get out of the day, what you're bringing to wear, what the end result will be used for. If you've been collecting inspiration, this is when we look at it together.
This is also when you can ask the questions you haven't asked yet. About being comfortable. About privacy. About what happens to your images. No question is too small or too obvious.
By the time you arrive for your session, there are no unknowns. Just excitement.
Professional Hair & Makeup
Included standard, not an add-on. Our stylist will talk through what you're going for: soft and natural, bold and dramatic, or somewhere between. She works with your features, your skin tone, and what you're wearing that day.
This is usually when the session starts to feel real. You're sitting in the chair, you're getting ready, and something in you shifts. Most clients say they feel different before they ever step in front of the camera.
Make plans for after your session. You're going to want to go somewhere.
Your Session
The studio is private. The only people here are you, Anthony, and your stylist. Every pose is coached from the ground up: where your hands go, how to angle your chin, where to put your weight. You won't be left to figure it out.
The session moves through multiple looks. You decide what you bring: lingerie, a button-down shirt, your partner's jersey, a sheet, fine art nude, whatever reflects who you are and what you want to document. You can be as clothed or unclothed as you want. This is entirely your session.
At some point, you'll stop thinking about what you look like and start just being there. That's when the best images happen.
Your Ordering Appointment
A few days after your session, we meet for your ordering appointment. This is when you see your images for the first time, at full size, without any rush. You've had a little time for the experience to settle, and seeing the images with that space behind you tends to hit differently than seeing them on the same day.
It's common to cry. That's not a performance. It's usually the first time you've seen yourself the way the people who love you see you. We go through the gallery together and there's no pressure to decide anything until you're ready.
From there, we talk through how you want to take the work home. Most clients leave with a Portfolio Collection: fine art matted prints in a handcrafted keepsake box. For clients who want something on a wall, options include metal portraits, traditional canvas, and the hand-painted canvases Anthony’s studio is known for. Nothing is decided until you’ve seen your images and know what they mean to you.

How the work comes home
At your ordering appointment, you see your images for the first time. Then we talk about how you want to live with them. There’s no catalog to flip through, no pressure to decide before you’re ready. Anthony walks you through the options that make sense for you specifically.
Most clients start with a keepsake box: fine art matted prints in a handcrafted buckram case, built to last and meant to be taken out slowly, privately, one at a time. Nothing on a wall. Nothing visible to guests. Just yours. For clients who prefer their images bound, album options in Japanese silk and European leather carry the same quality in a different form.
Matted prints offer something flexible that a fixed wall portrait doesn’t: you decide what’s private and what isn’t. Keep most in the box. Frame one for the bedroom. Rotate what’s visible when and where you choose.
For clients who want something on a wall, the options range from metal portraits to traditional canvas to the hand-painted canvases Anthony’s studio is known for. Every wall portrait comes with professional framing and complimentary in-home installation.
And for clients who want art in the more public spaces of their home but aren’t sure they want to announce what it is: that’s a conversation worth having. Some of the most striking images from a session don’t read as boudoir at all. Bodyscapes. Curves and shadows that read as dunes, coastlines, something abstract. Guests notice them. They compliment them. They don’t know what they’re looking at, and you don’t have to tell them. If that idea appeals to you, it starts in the pre-session consultation.

Questions people ask before booking
What should I wear to my session?
During your pre-session consultation, we'll go through your options together. Bring what you have and what speaks to you: lingerie sets, bodysuits, a button-down shirt, a silk robe, your favorite jeans and nothing else. The studio has options available too. There's no required look. The wardrobe is whatever reflects the side of yourself you want to document.
Will my images be shared publicly?
Never without your written consent. Your session and your images are private. If you're willing to share, even anonymously, that conversation happens after your reveal and you decide what's comfortable. Nothing goes anywhere without your explicit permission.
What's the investment?
This is a white glove experience from start to finish, which means the investment isn’t a number on a menu. A reservation fee holds your date and covers everything on session day: consultation, hair and makeup by a professional stylist, and the full session. Artwork comes later, at a separate ordering appointment after you’ve seen your images and had time to let the day settle.
Some clients leave with a small, carefully chosen collection. Others invest in multiple pieces and something for a wall. Both are completely normal, and neither is decided until you’ve seen what you actually made. During your consultation, Anthony walks you through all of it so you can plan with full information. Can I bring a friend?
The session itself is private, just you, Anthony, and the stylist. If having a friend for the hair and makeup portion would help you relax, that can sometimes be arranged during the consultation. Ask, and we'll talk it through.
How long does a session take?
Plan for a full day. Hair and makeup typically takes 90 minutes to two hours depending on complexity. The session itself runs two to four hours depending on the number of looks. Your ordering appointment, where you see your images and decide how you want to take them home, is scheduled separately. Most clients find it helpful to plan an evening out after the session. You're going to want to celebrate.
Do you offer maternity boudoir?
Yes, and it's some of the most meaningful work done in this studio. Pregnancy is a body journey unlike any other, and documenting it as fine art, including the hand-painted canvas option, creates something that will matter for decades. If you're pregnant and considering a session, reach out as early as possible to plan the timing right.
