Her story
Pregnancy changes your relationship with your body in ways that are hard to put into words. Fantashiyaa arrived at the studio carrying some of that uncertainty with her. A new relationship with the shape she was in. A new kind of self-consciousness.
What she found was a studio and a photographer set up to handle exactly that, with patience, direction, and an eye for what was actually in front of the camera.
"It was my first time doing this while pregnant and self-conscious. He made me feel at ease."Fantashiyaa R.
The session produced the kind of images that make a person stop and look. But what made Fantashiyaa's session memorable, beyond the photographs, was the painted portrait.
A portrait painted by hand.
Anthony offers something no other boudoir photographer in the area does: fine art digital painting. A photograph becomes the foundation for a hand-crafted painted portrait, finished to look like oil on canvas, each one unique. It's the kind of piece you hang on a wall and keep for decades, not a file on a hard drive.
For a maternity session, the timing is everything. This body, this moment, this particular version of herself that exists for just a few months and never again. A painted portrait of that moment is something her child can look at someday. Something she can look at long after the pregnancy is a memory.
"He made me feel at ease, comfortable, and very beautiful during my session. I got beautiful photos and a painted portrait that I will cherish forever."Fantashiyaa R.
No other photographer she found offered this combination. A boudoir session, fully guided and inclusive of hair and makeup, with the option to turn a photograph into a lasting painted portrait. Fantashiyaa came in nervous and left with artwork.
